Local church named a Top 100 Stand Host by Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation for Childhood Cancer!

In Kylie's honor, this group hosted many local lemonade stands to raise money for one of Kylie's favorite charities. Members and their friends volunteered at the stands which started in the summer and ran through the fall. Between these stands and individual contributions, over $15,700 has been donated to the foundation in Kylie's name. She would be so proud!

On Friday, April 24th, 2009,  Kylie's Elementary School has dedication in her honor. 

Friends, family, teachers and school administrators gathered at Kylie's school for a memorial ceremony.  A weeping cherry tree, donated by a local garden store, and a beautiful stone, engraved with a poem and Kylie's picture, had been placed in the courtyard of the school.  Arranged by her principal, it was a wonderful time for all to gather and share memories of Kylie.  What a wonderful tribute to such a special little girl.
